Comparing church to a frog?

It might seem like a crazy analogy – but beyond the comparison is a very readable book based on scripture, research and experience that creates a cultural shift in how faith formation is typically practiced. The theory is that it takes a whole church “frog” (the head is leadership, the torso is the congregation, and the legs are the home) to build a true Christian community and nurture faith in young people. The result is a more effective ministry that includes a stronger congregation-home partnership.
